Things just might be looking up now....

Ken's boss put in for his direct deposit and he said his pay will go in the bank this Friday. He said he had put in the back pay and then this weeks pay, so if he did, we can catch up on the house payment and make the utility payments. Phew! His unemployment check he was expecting to get might be in the bank as soon as tomorrow. I (pretending I was him) sent a message to the unemployment people online. They investigated and released the money. They said two to three days, so fingers crossed it's tomorrow because the $1.65 in my checking account isn't going to buy us much. I came down with the flu. Worse case of it I have ever had. What a nightmare! :( We finally heard back from the BBB about the Ford money. They said they'd be sending us a check in two to three weeks. We have to give all or most of it to our neighbor to start paying off the car, but we are so glad they are finally sending something. We are hoping it's the max allowed by them. They said they were maxing it out at $1450.00. We paid $1667.00 and that was with a favor from a guy. Other quotes we got were over $3000. Anyway, we are hoping they are sending the max amount. So, things are looking up, if all goes as planned....Fingers crossed!!
