Christmas...

Ready or not, here it comes again. We just paid November's rent last Friday. We still have to make November's house payment. We were two house payments behind last month and paid those, but now we have November's to pay. And we will and we will pay the rent and the utilities (hopefully before getting kicked out of the payment programs). But Christmas *sigh*... I have always been able to to get them each something and I'm still hopeful this year, but my goodness it has really creeped up on me! The family has been generous. My one sister got them each something and my other sister gave them each two things. Eddie is buying everyone three things, four if he can. So, we will have some gifts. I just hope I can be a giver of a gift too. Especially to my boy. Ken turned in the direct deposit papers for his check last weekend. They still owe him $600 from his last payday. The guy brought cash, but not quite enough. We need that money. :( It will get better, I know it will. Some sad news. My cousin had breast cancer about five years ago or so. She'd beaten it and moved on. She was recently diagnosed again. She is getting a double masectomy, then chemotherapy. She recently became a frike, but she doesn't want people to know or feel sorry for her. I think she could use the support. What can a person do? I feel so lost. She lives in our hometown, 240 miles away. I have to get a bp check this morning. Oh joy. The family has had stomach flu, hoping I don't get it. Finals are next Wednesday, I'm ready for the break.
