Tired, but what else is new?

Oh, I know!  Perhaps another job offer. I say perhaps because not much has been said yet.  Ken went to get paid today for the plowing/salting job and he told the guy today that he might be getting a regular job soon.  He just wanted to let him know in case a big storm comes as the company looking to hire him also does plowing.  It has been a light winter here, but the weather is hard to predict here in Michigan.

So, anyway, when Ken told him that, he said to Ken, "Don't take any offers yet.  Wait until we talk to you." Huh.

Go figure.

They are a bigger company than the other one.

Either place would be good to work for.

My Dad is doing ok.  Still won't let my sister talk him into putting Mom at Daycare five days a week.  She has so much fun there.  They talk to her, do puzzles with her, let her play with dolls.  My Dad won't let her have a doll.  :(  She loved her babies.  Anyway, at least he gave in to the three times a week.  She at first didn't like going there and now when he takes her, she just gets inside and gets to doing things.  :)

My Mom is doing well.  Ever since getting her pace maker she's had more energy and she rarely cries now.  Thank goodness because my Dad couldn't take the crying.  She is slipping away more and more though.  She didn't know who my Dad was last week.  She asked my Dad if her husband was still alive.  Then she wanted to visit her parents.  Her Mom died in 1969.  She will soon forget us all.  She was always so lively and friendly.  This just isn't fair.

We went to the store today and bought Amanda a very late small birthday gift and got a small gift for Hanna who turns 22 on Sunday.  22, my baby girl.  Wow.  Eddie will turn 20 early in March.

I can't believe how much they've all grown.  Maturing is coming slow for the girls, but Eddie is learning quickly now.  He loves his new job at Applebees!  :)  I hope that continues.  :)

All this stress has given me a big ugly cold sore on my chin.  Ouch.  :(  Well the job thing and the school thing and my parents.....the kids....
