Another interview and a surprise today!

I can't post this on facebook, but I can here!!  :)  My sister and her husband had to move from their beautiful home to an apartment because of her husband's new job.  He's a chemical engineer.  She's the one that has been helping us here and there along the way.  :)  She bought Z more pairs of jeans, which is so good because I could only get him one pair.  The boy is growing!

Oops, off track!!  :)  So, they had to downsize from living their big house to a nice apartment.  They have a 50 inch plasma tv that they had to leave at the house for staging and they have no place to put it in their apartment. They were going to offer it to the new buyers (for a price) if they wanted it, but they don't.  Her old neighbors are offering to buy it cheap, but she doesn't want to sell it cheap.  She called me today and said she'd rather give it to us!  I said are you sure?  She said yes.  She knows tv and watching movies is all we have right now.  Oh I started to cry in the car!  That is all we have right now.  Free movies from the library and the ones we own.  That's our entertainment.  So, once the whole deal of selling the house goes through, her husband will make a final trip down to South Carolina and pick up the rest of what they want and make sure the neighbors get what they want of the other things.  Then we have to take a 6 hour trip down (she said she'd pay for gas!) and we will get it.  Her husband will drive 6 hours north.  My sister hasn't been traveling because of inner ear issues and dizziness.  It's been about a year for her.  :(  Anyway, we are so excited!  We just have to figure out a sturdy stand for it.  Anyway, I can't put this on facebook because my Dad can't know.  He wanted the tv and my sister said he has a flat screen and it's big enough for him.  We still have the old kind of tv, not a flat screen. We didn't mind, we had hoped to buy something with Ken's bonus he was suppose to get, but ah, we all know where that went!....

Anyway......

Ken got the call today from that company.  They want him to come in on Thursday morning.  Then he got a call from another company that wants to interview him Thursday afternoon!  So he will go to that too.  Honestly, I"m hoping the first company makes him an offer he can't refuse, but we shall see.

Zachary's throat is very red and sore again!  He just finished his medicine from the last time he had strep.  I think it's just going around his class and parents don't care enough to have their child checked to stop the infection spreading.  : (  If he has a fever in the morning, he goes back to the doctor.

I should get some sleep.  I'm freaking about the electric bill.  The electric company said we have to wait until we get a shut off notice to get help.  My worry is, if we wait until then, if Ken gets a job, then we won't be able to get any help paying for it.  And we won't have money right off the bat to pay for it!  Ugh, I like to stress about stuff I guess.
