My sister, that bought the Santa gift for Z, she's decided to play Santa for just about all of us a little bit. :) Not spending tons on everyone, but getting everyone a little something we will each really like. She has two somethings for me and I'm dying to know what they are. :)
Anyway, this year, my other sister (C) bought me stamps to mail my Christmas cards. I was so surprised by her gift to me, I shared the news with my other sister (J). I guess J wanted to join in the fun of surprising us. :) It doesn't take much. :) We certainly don't expect a thing.
J also ordered us a humidifier. I told her I boil water to help keep moisture in the air for Z and his coughing. She mentioned her humidifier and that it shuts itself off when it's empty. I said I'd have to look into that at income tax refund time. About an hour later, I got an email from J saying one was on it's way. I hadn't even told her that Z's nose gets so dry it's been bleeding.
I don't ask family for money because I know we can't pay it back. I'd rather go without, even electricity, before asking to borrow money from family. It is just too hard to pay it back. I want to more than anything, but we generally don't get extra money very often. When we do get extra money, it goes to pay for things we truly need. When Ken gets his bonus, we have to put a new roof on this house. It leaks and that sucks.
So, there will be a few gifts under the tree for everyone. Eddie got paid today and he's planning on getting everyone something. Hanna is hoping for money so she can, she's on the edge of getting money she just doesn't know when. Her YouTube videos have made her some money and her financial aid should be coming soon. She is also going to substitute teach some more, so Yeah! H finally has money on the way! Phew!
Ken's next check should reflect the old pay. I don't know if we will be able to get them anything, but we will try. Have to make sure there is money for food for two weeks first. And something for Christmas dinner. We will be here alone, we have to do something. :) I wish everything else wasn't so far behind or we'd be able to do that stuff no problem. Still I'm feeling better knowing there are a few things for each of the kids this year. The big kids are adults but still my kids. Oh and ho ho ho still needs a few more sweet treats and some nuts. I will see about getting those too.
I'm tired and repeating myself so I'm off to bed.
