Ah, reality, such an ass kicker! 

There are worse things in life than no Christmas for the boy.  Really not a big deal if I have to tell him Christmas will have to wait a couple of months.  Sorry son, there is no Santa.  Really not a big deal. 

We have to give our house payment to the electric company.  Then I have to give my rent money to the house people and then I just have to figure out where to find rent money. 

See, makes Christmas look kind of unimportant doesn't it?
