Today...

The other lady asked me if I'd do early days on all the Sundays.  Of course!  Mealtime is a big deal here.  We sit down at the table and we discuss our day.  Some of our funnest conversations have been at the dinner table.  So, I'm happy to have one day a week to have dinner with my family. 

It is hard to plan a meal.  A lot of days it is just Hanna and Zachary here for dinner.  Tomorrow it should be Ken, Amanda, H and Z.  I picked up a clearanced chicken for only $3 today and Hanna can cook it.  One more week until my first full check is issued, then I just have to wait for it to be mailed.  It would be nice if they mailed it sooner but I won't hold my breath on that that's for sure. 

When we finally get to buy some food, it's going to seem strange.  Everything has had to be thought out, budgeted and sometimes gone without.  Which is hard and frustrating.  I can't afford fresh produce, frozen veggies aren't cheap either.  If we can afford a membership to Costco some of those things might be easier to get.  If they are large quanitity, they will last longer.  We just have to see because I think a membership is $40 and that's a bit much.  Sometimes I've only had $30 a week for groceries lately. 

I'm seeing a light at the end of the tunnel, I just hope we stay there, once we get there.
