WOW
WOW
WOW
Did I say wow?? I can't believe the difference in Zachary! He's in his room, in his bed, reading....alone!
He actually played in his bedroom most of the day. He has never spent that much time in that bedroom awake before in his life. I can say that honestly, as it is the truth. He banged on his drums, played Eddie's old flute a phone (or whatever they call them now), went on the top bunk, layed on the bottom bunk, I don't know what else!
Tonight, for the first time in his life (yes, honestly and truly) he brushed his teeth alone. He wouldn't let me leave during his shower, but I will take what I've gotten so far. :)
The Zoloft seems to have taken the edge off him. We doubled the dose on Friday after a week on 25 mg, but I'm wondering if we had to. Hard to tell at this point though, the doctor said we won't see final results for up to a month. She did say we could see results as soon as a week and I believe we have. Phew!
It is so weird.
I'm not sure if he is brave enough to go to sleep alone, but again, I feel we will get there in time. :)
That will seem so very weird though.
Wonderful news!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is wonderful news! I will be praying for continued progress & results.
