A small miracle happened.  A tiny window opened up. One whole precious day away and two nights.

Every year, KOA does a fundraiser in the month of May. Pay for one night get the second night for $10. I was checking the ones we could drive to last night and one of them still had openings. A said she had the money to borrow me to hold the cabin so we did it. I am very excited. It's not the ideal sleeping arrangments but it will be fun.  The cabins have no bathrooms but there are bathrooms with showers nearby. Rocky can stay with us. The kids can start a fire and we can cook junk food. Maybe Z will bring a guitar. We shall see.

It's just before marching band starts and a couple weeks before the pool opens.

I can't wait. A mini vacation.
