My goodness, the people they hired at the new store to help set it up do not like us (the transferring people). It's kind of funny because there is more of us than there is of them, oh well, they are stuck with us. :)
The new store is beautiful! Everything is all new, the fixtures, the shelves, everything.
My boss wasn't happy the closing of the other store didn't go as well as she thought it would. It was frustrating to hear her talking about when she hadn't been there in weeks. The two main managers left in charge were just made managers because of the store closing. I feel so bad for those girls, my gosh they had a lot to deal with.
Anyway....
I feel tired but wired when I get home after all that stocking! We got in 500 boxes of fabric! So much work to do! I'm hoping by Monday a lot of it will be put away or up or something but we shall see. At least most of those boxes are empty now.
I'm working regular days right now and I like that. Work at 8, an hour for lunch and home at 5. That won't last, but I'm enjoying it while I have it. I do believe this store will be much busier than our old one. We've had a ton of people trying to get in, even arguing to get in. There's a huge sign in the window that says opening February 1.
I get to sleep in tomorrow. :) Yeah!! It's been about two weeks since I've been able to do that.
If the hours don't continue, I'm going to have to find something more stable. :( We shall see. I've made some friends and it's nice to see people I know on a regular basis again. It's been a long time. We shall see.
