Long time no post from me!

Wow, it's been a while!  I'm tired so hopefully I don't ramble too much.  ;)

Ken's hours picked up a bit and he's finally getting 40 a week, sometimes a few more.  I ended up getting most of the pool hours the rest of summer because my so called boss (what an ass) took forever getting Eddie into the system.  I hardly saw Zachary but it helped pay the bills.  We didn't have to ask the state for any assistence all summer.  :)  Even with the firing, so that was good.  We did get behind, but we managed to pay off the red van and catch up on the house payment, for the most part. 

I can't believe summer is gone and Fall is nearly upon us.  It sure is cold out there. 

I have got to start looking for work myself.  I'm just so darn tired all the time from school and running everyone else around.  :( But I will get it done. 

We did take a little money and spend it on Zachary that last day before school started.  We took him to the zoo and to the Lego store.  A promise I never intended to break, but almost had to.  Must be careful with those promises, they are something children put trust in and I have always followed through on them.  :) 

Winter, scares me.  Getting through it that is. 

Middle school is going great so far!  Summer was plain miserable with Zachary!  Oh my gosh!  He had sleepless nights, a night terror and nights with the lights on.  The hand flapping came back too.  That darn old sub from last year really messed him up.  :(  The first day was shakey, the second day better, and so on and so on.  He's doing great with the saxophone but he truly wants to play the drums.  I worry he will be the best sax player and his teacher won't let him switch.  He already sounds pretty good!  That kid is just musical.  :)

Speaking of that!  My sister has been paying for guitar lessons for Zachary.  He's been using his acoustic guitar.  He's doing really well with those lessons too.  He rarely practices and that gets me!  The guy doesn't even know!  We shall see how that continues to go and grow.  :) 

Well, I'm tired and that's about all I've got today.
