So, it's been quite a holiday week for our family.

Christmas Eve, my Mom fell at the beauty shop and hit her head.  An ambulance was called and she went to the hospital.  They checked her out and sent her home.

That night, at dinner, Mom passed out.  Fainted.  My Dad said that the hospital said that is to be expected.  ? Hmmmm

My brother called the hospital and they said bring her back here!!

They ran tests on her heart and discovered her heart is not firing correctly in the lower part of it. She needed a pacemaker asap.  The only doctor in their town that does them was out of town.  They had to travel to a town about 100 miles away for Mom to get the pacemaker.  So, on Christmas day, Mom and Dad got into a ambulance and traveled to Saginaw Michigan.  Yesterday they put the pacemaker in my Mom.  Today they hope she can go home.

Stress.

My BP medicine ran out.  No insurance to get more.  I called the office to see if they will refill, fingers crossed they will.

*Called and they gave me a month of medicine.  Phew!  Love Walmart and their $4 prescription drugs!  She said that's it though until she sees me.  I will need $73 to go in.  Ugh.  Hopefully Ken is working by then. 

More stress...

Ken's job.......He's waiting to hear something, anything.....I'm thinking he should apply to more places.

Ah, life.  It is stressful.
