It has stayed with me. I had the shot a week ago tomorrow and the pain and swelling are finally about gone. It really did make me feel sick for a few days. The first day after was the worst for me, I had taken that day off and it was a good idea to do that. The second day after I went to work, by the time I got home, that sick feeling had returned and I pretty much crawled to bed. By the third day after, I was feeling a little stronger but my arm stayed red, swollen, hot and itchy for almost a week. I'd had a headache everyday until today. I was very tired, until today as well. I'm hoping the worst is behind me and that the vaccine works. I had the Moderna and my daughter had the Pfizer. My daughter didn't have much of a reaction. Mostly tired and a sore arm. I'd do it again because I want to be part of the solution. :)
The boy is starting at Community College in the Fall. I had a feeling he should have started there but he was so excited and he had scholarships so I let him try. I let go and he came running back. It was so hard to watch. They want to do further testing on him. He's thought about it and he wants to get that done. So, we move forward and see if they can help him more.
E is still at the Texas Roadhouse. He had a girlfriend. Oh she was yanking him and pushing him away like a yoyo. He kept sticking up for her. After the third time she "got back together with him" I talked to him about his heart and her treating him like that. It reminded me of the way their Dad left. He just couldn't make up his mind what he wanted, but then he just left. She lived five hours away, she never came up here and he always went down there. Well, the last time she broke up with him, that was it. He was sad but they remain friends and hopefully they both move on. I've tried to get him to meet someone online but he doesn't think he's all that. I do but I'm just his Mom.
It's been a while but I just wanted to update, even just for me.
