Ice day today

Had the day off because of ice. It was scary out there. I had to go get my license plate renewed and pick up my medicine. It was nice to go back to bed until 9:00. It was not good that I won't get paid for today. That's two unpaid snow days on my next check. If we get any more, they'll be paid days off.  

Z's dad sent him $20 in a card for his birthday. He sent nothing to any of them for Christmas. E was disappointed in his dad. I don't know what to think or do. Then again, I'm not sure it's mine to do, so I don't think I will. Could be that karma people keep telling me he's going to get. 

Two more birthdays this year, well, this birthday season anyway. We go from late December to early March, all five of us. Used to be all six of us, K's birthday was today. 

Dad's party was a huge success. Exhausting day for me but he enjoyed it. I looked so tired in the pictures. I also looked quite big in the pictures. I'm thinking I need a way to excercise here. A stationary bike or a walking marching. Elliptical trainers look like something I'd never try. :) When I get my income tax return, I will see what I can get. If the photos aren't enough for me, I can just look at my bp prescription.  She doubled it about six months ago. So, going to try doing smaller portions and moving more and see where that gets me. 

The collar for Koda has been a miracle worker. We believe the longer we use it, the more he'll improve. He's already letting us hold, pet and kiss him. We can play on the floor with him and he's happy and playful. He seems to know when he's wearing it and when he's not but the times he'll act up without it on are much less. We are thinking it will take time but he will get there. There's a light at the end of the puppy tunnel. 

My allergies! Ugh!! 

My car!! Could have been worse but ugh! It's getting old and I got to figure that out. Somehow.
