OMG!

I feel guilty. 

The teacher that was driving me crazy at the beginning of the year, well, we've become friends.  Friends.  As in she wants to go shopping and go to lunch friends. 

Me?  A friend? 

I've inspired her to buy a sewing machine and make a quilt. 

Me?  Inspiring? 

She wants me to finish my quilt.  She gave  me a $50 gift card for my birthday  to get what I need to finish it. Now she's worried that isn't enough and she wants to go to Joann's with me.  I'm hoping it's enough, I really don't want to take more from her. 

But I think I've made a friend!

We are going to Joann's tomorrow and she's taking me to lunch with a gift card she got for Christmas to Ruby Tuesday. 

I could cry.  She says I deserve that. 

I've made friends at work places before.  I only remember two that ever wanted to stuff out of work with me.  Eventually, they just kind of disappeared from my life. 

I shall try this friend thing again.  It's been a long time.  Aside from friend from high school that I see every few years and play scrabble online with everyday.  Then there's my online friends but I've only met one of those. 

Rambling now.  I hope this goes well!!  Nervous and excited! I am so silly.
