Update...

Car still needs work.

Got the lawyer, he said between 500 and 1000 depending on what he has to do for me.  He took 300 this week (had to borrow it from A) have to give him another 200 when I get paid (my check is only going to be around 350 - ugh) and then he will wait for the rest until I get a windfall, if he wants more. 

He got K to agree to giving me $250 a month until I retire but it won't kick in until he's done paying child support in 3 1/2 years.  If I remarry, he won't have to pay it any more.  I may never remarry just so he has to pay it.  ;)  I wish I still believed in marriage, maybe I will again someday.  I just don't know. 

No clue what's going to happen with the debts.  K won't file for bankruptcy with me. If the judge makes him keep all his debt, I can figure out mine without filing I think.  My credit is actually back above 600, it was 400 a year ago.  I think bankruptcy will 0 it out for sure. 

I'm exhausted.  These holiday weeks and weeks with short school days for conferences are killing my checks right now.  Child support would come in handy for the holidays.  I told Z today I can't get him the drums he wants for Christmas but hopefully when I get a stipend or something later next year we can get them.  It's just a small set of electronic drums he wants, they look fun.  Should be doable...later...

Oh, my h! They need another parapro in the program A is working in.  She told her boss about h and h emailed her resume' today.  Fingers and toes crossed please.  Oh this would be so good for her and the family. 

I see the lawyer Friday, he's supposed to type something up for K to sign.  Hopefully it's a short meeting at $175 an hour I can't afford to be there long.

Thanksgiving, thanks to my big kids, shall be wonderful.  I have bought none of it really.  Just the butter because Kroger had it on sale so cheap, I got enough for the holidays.  :/
