Went so well!!
I was so scared because the last interview went so bad! It felt like it did to me anyway because of the way the guy acted. At the time, I figured it was because he wanted me to stay in the class I was in. I just need a job and I'd prefer one that I happen to enjoy. :) I did enjoy working with the children and I learned a lot from them and from the other woman that I worked with.
Anyway, when I went in for this interview, I felt much more welcome. He talked about the last interview and said it probably won't help to know but I was their second choice last year. YES! It helps to know that. I was feeling like the bottom of the barrel but I was right up there!! Then I was asked if I was offered this job if I would take it. That was the second time in about six months I'd been told that I was second choice.
I almost fell out of my chair. I was told I was first choice for this job. I was so excited and they seemed excited. I was introduced to their office staff as we walked out. WE! They walked me out, like you walk a family member to the door.
I just have to wait for HR to call me. Interview was Wednesday morning, I'm not sure how long these things take. Hopefully not too long.
I worry because my credit stinks. I hope it doesn't mess this up. It's not my fault it's so messed up and I want to fix it but with everything happening, well it's going to take some time. It's mainly the house we lived in. When we moved out, he said he couldn't give me as much money because he had to continue making payments on it. He has not. I can not. I honestly would not. The loan for that house was $32,000, we've paid over $70,000 in payments over the past 20 years. There was still a balance of $25,000. I know we agreed to that but we were young and had no idea we were agreeing to that!
I am really worried. :( Fingers crossed they don't hold it against me. I will keep looking, just in case. I wish I lived in a state that didn't allow them to do that but I do.
It's hot today. I'm not a fan of hot, not at all. I'll be glad to come home to the air conditioning.
