When Ken had his Trugreen job, money was so tight! But it was there and it was regular. So what we couldn't get the big kids or each other Christmas gifts. So what we couldn't fill the cupboards every week, there was usually something there to eat that was left over from something.
I never dreamed we land here.....
I always thought there'd be some part time job for me somewhere. They used to be so easy to find. Now I find stores are holding off to they can keep more of their money. Eddie was hired after Thanksgiving last year and let go Christmas Eve. Thank goodness Applebees called him and he stuck in there when the going was tough.
I'm hoing that having my degree will help, even with getting a retail job.
You truly don't know what you have until it's gone. :( I took the small things for granted and now I feel bad about that.
Still waiting on that call/text whatever/whenever it will be. *sigh*
