Well crap!

Now the company that just let Ken go is saying he stole a backpack sprayer (he has his own and has had it for years!) and he did not take it!  They say he picked it up from a repair shop last Saturday.  He spent the entire day with me Saturday.  All but 20 minutes when he ran Eddie to work.

They said he used their truck without asking.  He asked to use their truck!  My gosh, just say no if you don't want him to!  For the love of pete!

And the guy is saying his hours didn't match up from finishing work time to punching out time.  There is no way they could as the business was always miles and miles away from work and the work day ended at drive time.  Ugh.

They are keeping his last check.  Our rent money.  Our rent was already late, but we had to pay off the car and one late fee was no big deal.  Now I have no freaking clue what we are going to do.  If we don't pay soon, they will file for court.  That will add $170 to our rent.  We will report them to the department of labor for holding his check.  Ken wants to report all the illeagal things they do with spraying fertilizer and pesticides, he said they probably have $5000 in fines.

I did not sleep last night.  I haven't had a day off in about a month and now I'm working full 8 hour days.  Today is my 7th 8 hour day in a row.

Tired.  Frustrated.  Worried.  This just bites.  :(

Ken found a different job, less pay, and not sure of hours yet.  We are hopeful it is more than unemployment.  At first they said it was and now, the hours are not looking too good.  His Canadian buddies want to have him work there, but they want him there like tomorrow and he doesn't have a passport or enhanced license or anything.

*sigh*

Yes, I know, it could be worse.  That is the only thing keeping me afloat right now.
