Businesses.....

I know Walmart has its downfalls. I am a person that watches what I buy and check the quality of things before buying them. Sometimes stores sell absolute garbage for money. People buy that junk too, assuming it will last.

The glasses frames we were shown at SVS Vision that state insurance would buy were not great quality. They were supposed to be free though. I saw no point in ordering a pair of glasses Z wouldn't wear. Not to mention the way he was treated, because a person's a person no matter how small!.......Anyway....We went to Walmart on Sunday and he was treated like a person. :) They let him try on any pair he wanted to as many times as he wanted to as long as he wanted to. No hidden costs, every item is marked with a price. So I like Walmart. :) Very much! We really couldn't spare the cash, but we got him a complete pair for $67.

Now the boy has outgrown his jeans.  *sigh*

Ken has to go to court about the rent tomorrow.  Ugh.

So, back to businesses.........

While I'm knocking a business I am going to complain about another one. Payless Shoes. We have bought shoes there over the years many times. I bought Z his school shoes there at the end of summer. I had offered him any shoes but he liked those. I was working at the pool then so we could have gotten nicer ones but he liked those. Well first the tongues fell out. I didn't have time to return them so I sewed them back on myself. Then one day about the time Ken got fired (ugh) Z told me he had holes in the bottom of his shoes. I emailed Payless and told them what happened. They said because he wore them, he wore them out and it wasn't their fault, I will have to buy him a new pair. So we had 0 money for weeks. People helped us out but it was not enough to get everything we needed. And poor Z needed shoes. So I found him a pair of Scetchers on Amazon and used the gift card my sister gave me to Amazon to order him a new pair of shoes.

Ah the boy keeps growing.

No news on the unemployment yet.  Waiting is difficult and frustrating and scary.

I'm off to bed.  Sorry this is choppy.  I started writing it on my phone and it just didn't seem right.  I kept hoping to get back to it and well, finally I have.

Thanks for reading this.  :)
