Ugh.

So we have an appointment with social services this morning.  I dread it.  We left our small town, our families, our lives to get off welfare. 

To move back up north is cheaper rent wise and family is there, however there are still no jobs there.  And H and E are in college and they can't afford housing down here.  There is no college up there really.  There's a community college with some offers of four year degrees, but I don't know if they offer what they want.  Besides, there are more jobs down here. 

Ken went to work this morning to do some salting.  He's going to miss the meeting this morning.  I don't think they will be happy, but would they be mad he's working?  I wish he could be there because we still haven't seen any money to this day yet.  He worked those six hours weeks ago and nothing.  It's all he's been offered for now, so he went. 

And I understand, but ugh.
